EVEN by Swindon Town standards, Friday was a hectic and surprising day of breaking news stories.

CEO Steve Anderson left his role at the club before manager John McGreal and assistant manager Rene Gilmartin announced their contracts had been terminated by mutual consent.

Finally, Town owner Lee Power was ordered to offer the remaining shares in Swindon Town to Clem Morfuni's Axis for sale.

After many fans had given themselves time to digest the news, here's how some of you reacted to Friday's big stories.

Wickham Red: "Looks like it's all change at SN1."

Callumbus: "I think this shows significant changes are imminent."

Wotsthepoint: "The only hope is that there is a new owner and new team ready to take over asap. Thanks for your short stay gents, far better record than Sheridan!"

Jib Jib: "Think we need to wait to see how it all pans out before passing judgement on today's announcements. Clem bound to want his own choice in."

dbswin985: "Can't see where the strong foundation is, as at this moment in time the club has many issues and if what we hear is true needs a massive overhaul.

"If Clem Morfuni does manage to become the owner its fair to say he might hopefully get the right people in.

"The club needs that now because we cannot carry on the way its been. We need proper management to run the club with no hangers on or chancers, then we may progress again."

IvanFrank: "Just possibly their resignations are their way of giving Power a final push - in which case they will be given hero status as they return appointed by Clem. Just a thought.

"In any event, Power has been put into an impossible position by the court, and the club is also protected from administration. So today is a good day. Power is as good as gone."

Jeremiah Trimble: "One would have to imagine that Power is likely to appeal the decision, so I'd guess it's unlikely to be as straightforward as one would wish. (but it would be nice to be wrong)."
