SWINDON Town's pre-season friendly against Swindon Supermarine has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, July 20.
Town's first pre-season fixture was set to take place on Tuesday, July 6 with a 7:30pm kick-off, but will now take place exactly a fortnight later with the same kick-off time.
The reason for the rearranged date has not been made clear by either club, although it is likely to regard the instability at Swindon Town and the lack of players available to the County Ground side.
Supermarine did publish an announcement regarding tickets on the club's website, however.
It said: "With a number of spectators having already purchased match ticket’s for July 6th, these tickets will be remain valid for use on July 20th.
"We are hoping those spectators that had already purchased a ticket will be available to attend the rearranged match on July 20th.
"If there are any supporters that have already purchased a match ticket but can not attend on this new July 20th date, then we will contact you and arrange for a refund after the July 20th but before July 27th."
