SWINDON Town Official Supporters Club acting chairperson Hannah Clinch looks ahead to a busy period, discussing Her Game Too, the Free Kicks Foundation, and End of Season Award presentation.

I won’t dwell on last weekend’s result and instead am looking forward to a busy Easter weekend, with a visit to the EnviroVent Stadium ticking off another ground from my list, before we host Leyton Orient on Easter Monday.

Following a meeting with the club, we have agreed to change the dedicated #HerGameToo match to Monday’s 3pm kick-off against Leyton Orient.

In the interest of encouraging new female supporters and their families to the County Ground we thought this would be the best solution, with the Forest Green fixture being moved to a Tuesday night and with the potential importance and elevated emotions involved with this game.

In case anyone missed it, Her Game Too are actively looking for club Ambassadors, so if you haven’t already, please take a look at the Her Game Too website and send in your application if you’re interested in driving more positive changes in this space.

Chris Kyle and I also initiated discussions and put forward several ideas for how we can start to improve the female experience at the County Ground, combining a mixture of short, mid and long-term ideas for investigation. If anyone has anything that they would like us to raise, please drop us an email.

Next up for us is the junior mascots that will be joining us in hospitality for the visit of Forest Green Rovers.

We have been working with the Free Kicks Foundation (of which former Town midfielder Michael Doughty is the Chair of Trustees) and the STFC Community Foundation and have three mascots joining us for the game.

The Free Kicks Foundation is a Nationwide charity whose aim is to provide football-related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children, giving them a day to remember with their favourite football club.

Please look out for our mascots and give them a cheer as they walk out on to the pitch pre-match!

Looking ahead, we have our End of Season Presentation Dinner pencilled in for Wednesday, May 4 at SN1.

The evening will consist of a two-course meal, with seven awards to present and attendance from the first team squad and management. Tickets for the event sold out within days of going on sale, with the member pre-sale proving very popular, but we have a reserve list in case of any tickets becoming available nearer the time.

All members should also have received an email to vote for their Player of the Season too, so don’t forget to cast your vote before Friday, April 29.

If you want to secure your member-exclusive pre-sale and discounts for future events you can join the Official Supporters Club for just £5 per season and you can join online or in the Legends Lounge on a matchday.

With just six games to go and everything still to play for, let’s get behind the team and see whether we can pinch one of those play-off spots. COYR.
