Swindon Rangers A strikers stole the headlines on a day when only 16 matches were completed in the league.

They stayed at the top of the under 10 North table thanks to an 11-0 victory over Stratton Youth.

A hat-trick of hat-tricks, from Jake Evans, Ryan Morgan and Jack Steed, plus further goals from Alex Fenton and Cameron Shaw, sealed the win.

Stratton impressed with their never give up' attitude and some good defending kept Rangers from increasing their tally.

Carrying on their recent run of good form, Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals moved into fourth place with a 5-1 win over Stratton Juniors.

Royals took an early lead direct from an Aaron Langton corner, before Tom Walsham made it two with a well-taken header.

Stratton pulled one back before Jamie Cox hit a shot from distance to make it 3-2 going into the break.

Tom Walsham capped a fine performance by scoring his second from close range and Aaron Langton rounded off a good team performance with his second and Royals' fifth to finish 5-1.

A spirited Purton away display in difficult conditions had Stratton Juniors battling hard throughout for their victory.

Goals from Matthew Cozens, Jack Harris and Joshua Ayres sealed the win.

Under 11 West

Wootton Bassett A went into the weekend with two away fixtures.

The first, on Saturday, produced a superb all-round performance against Stratton Youth, with two goals from Keir Miles, one from Max Kitchin and a penalty from Aaron Fry giving them a 4-0 win.

Sunday's game against Highworth Juniors B was played in wet and windy conditions. Bassett went in at half time 4-0 up, thanks to a hat-trick from Craig McLauchlin and one goal from Alisdair Little.

They scored two more in the second half - one from Max Kitchin and the other from Reuben Querzani - to make the final score 6-0.

Under 10 West

A tough game saw Abbey Meads go 2-0 up with both goals coming from Mikey Ejsmont.

Brinkworth pulled one back through a lone strike from Jacob Botterill but could not get another against a strong Abbey Meads team.

Both sides defended well in the second half to keep the score at 2-1. Men of the match were Mikey Ejsmont for Abbey Meads and defender Josh McCafferty for Cats.

Under Nine South

Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals maintained their position at the top of the table with two fine wins over the weekend.

On Saturday, they travelled to Stratton and, despite plenty of action, the first half remained goalless.

After the break Royals' pressure was rewarded with a long range effort from Dennis Drexel opening the scoring.

They continued to play flowing football and added a second when Morgan Buckle scored with a cross-come-shot that crept under the keeper's hands.

On Sunday, Shrivenham enjoyed a comfortable victory against a South Swindon side who battled to the end.

South Swindon went one up in the first 10 minutes, through Jordan Betterton, but Shrivenham hit back quickly with goals from Morgan Buckle and Alec Barker-Grace, to send them in 2-1 up at the interval.

After the break, the home side dominated and despite some good saves from South Swindon's goalie, they increased their lead to 6-1, with goals from Marcus Iles, another from Barker-Grace, and two more from Buckle to complete his hat-trick - his third in four games.

Royals' man of the match award went to Harry Bateman.
