IT ALL went horribly wrong for Shrivenham & Watchfield Royals, as they hosted Cricklade in the Under 13 Division Two of the North Wilts League.

Although the Royals were 3-1 up with 20 minutes left, they managed to lose 4-3 to a tenacious Cricklade outfit.

Elliot Day scored two of the Royals goals and Damien Lybeck-Harris got the other.

Cricklade's rescheduled under 12 match on Good Friday against Pewsham Youth was a thrilling game with a quick opening goal from Tayten Nyahwa in the first five minutes.

Pewsham quickly answered this with an equaliser.

A late first half goal from Alec Baker took Cricklade back into the lead at the interval. Pewsham kept up the pressure in the second half, battling really strong winds, and scored two more to run out 3-2 winners.

Blueprint Chiseldon are up to second in the Under 11 North Division courtesy of a routine 5-0 home win over Swindon Soccer Skills.

Marlborough Town lost at home to Wanborough Juniors 6-1 in the Under 10 Central Division. Marlborough's goal was scored by Oliver Morris.

Shaw tightened their stranglehold on third place in the Under 15 Division One section, winning 5-1 at Fairford.

At under 16 level, Stratton Juniors A collected a rare win, and in some style, thumping fellow strugglers Shaw, 12-0.

Wootton Bassett Under 13s progressed in the cup, winning 5-1 at Cirencester Town A.
