DORCAN Old Boys claimed the first honours in the Swindon Sunday League after clinching the Division Six title, writes STEVE ASHLEY.

Their 5-2 win over Bear Marlborough wrapped up the title ahead of Stratton United On target for Old Boys was Graham Little and Gary Matthews, who both bagged braces. Also scoring was Lee Mason.

Elsewhere in the division, Pinehurst Community were held to a 2-2 draw at AFC Royston with goals from Aarron Welland and Andrew Walshe. Nick Pagett replied for Royston with a double.

Cats Solutions beat Coleview 5-0 thanks to strikes from Ryan Keech (2), Callum Woollen, Wes Pidgeon and Matt Shears. In the top division, Dennis King scored Haydon Wick WMC's solitary goal in their 5-1 defeat to Greyhound.

RJK Ferndale beat Shield & Dagger 2-0 though goals from Neil Matthews and Ricky Cook in the Division Two fixture.

In Division Three, Lava Lounge enjoyed an important 6-3 home win against AFC Cricklade thanks to a Rob Smith hat-trick, Craig Alexander double and a good header from Dan Hobbs.

Brinn Keech and Jack Dodd netted for Autocolour in their 4-2 defeat at home to Dynamo Ashton. Wanborough beat Pembroke United 3-1 with goals from Chris Rusling, Pete Stradling and Mark Brimson.

Leaders Intermach Wheatsheaf edged closer to the Division Four title after beating Dennis Removals 4-2 thanks to a hat-trick from Steve Winchcombe and a penalty from Martyn Pritchard.

New Century WMC won 2-1 at Division Five leaders Eldene Social Club - Lee Smith and Chris Oke scoring for Century with Dave Rendle replying for Eldene.

Inter Sandgate beat Nationwide 5-2 with Mark King (3) and Dean Wootton (2) on target.

West Swindon Wanderers, in Division Seven won 4-1 at Thamesdown AFC with efforts from John Crowley, Jon Driver (2) and Jason Pickett. Richard Jordan replied for Thamesdown.

In Division Eight, leaders Penhill Aces won 10-2 at Mercedes Benz with four timers from Carl Grimwood and Blaine Fitzgerald plus others from Warren Fox and Kelvin Young. Colin Holness and Shaun Rudman scored the Mercedes goals.

Roughmoor Rangers were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Swindon Snooker whose scorers were Craig Bibby and Ricky Walklett.

CSA Sandgate beat Ventrolla 5-0 with Jan Noval scoring four times and Frantisek Jancosek getting the other.

Swindon Macs beat Patheon 4-3 with goals from Tom Butcher, Martin Godden, Neil Brooking and Neil Laybourne.

The Patheon replies came from Tony Cutting with a double and Richard Lester.

In the long-awaited Knockout Cup tie, Walcot's Finest and Regent drew 2-2 in the all Division Seven clash. It was Walcot who went through though, winning 5-4 on penalties after extra time. Barry Armstrong and Ash Andrews scored the Regent goals.
