SWINDON Town have released a 'magic roundabout-inspired' home kit ahead of the 2023/24 League Two campaign.

The all-red PUMA strip features a minimalistic design on the front of the shirt - illustrating one of the town's most famous landmarks in a cluster of circles and pentagons.

In a change to previous years, Town will wear red shorts instead of white with sponsor Veezu on the back, but the socks will remain red.

The shirt will feature a new main sponsor, with parking company MiPermit signing up to take over from First City Care Group - who will switch to back-of-shirt sponsors.

Swindon Advertiser:

On the back collar of the top, there is the locomotive element of the club’s crest above the First City logo and name.

Town say fans wishing to purchase the new home kit can do so both online and in store from Thursday, June 29. Shirts could take up to 10 days to arrive if ordered online.

Adult shirts are priced at £49.99 while youth tops are £37.99 - mini kits are £41.99.

Swindon Town's CEO, Rob Angus said: "We are really excited about the new home kit for the 2023/24 season.

"We feel it reflects the proud of history of our town with references to our railway heritage and the world renown and iconic magic roundabout, which recently passed its 50th birthday.”

Swindon Advertiser:

"We hope our supporters like the unique design of our home kit and continue to support us by buying it in their numbers.

"Kit launches are never easy, and behind the scenes can be a logistical challenge, but I am proud of the way our backroom team have faced into these challenges to enable the home kit to be launched ahead of pre-season."

Swindon say the away kit will be launched at some point in July.

The club also advised fans that they only hold a limited amount of stock currently and are awaiting a further delivery from manufacturers, PUMA.

Fans will be able to add custom names to the back of their new Town shirts, but the club will not print player names and numbers until they have been officially confirmed, it said.
