Unbeknownst to fans, two people have for almost a year owned 20 per cent of Swindon Town Football Club between them.

With the shocking revelation by majority owner Clem Morfuni on Thursday that he needed an emergency loan and the shares were given out as security last year, many questions remain unanswered.

The main arguably is, who are STFC's other shareholders, Hollie Kiely and Bethany Parladorio?

Not much is known about either woman as neither of them is currently attached to the club in an official capacity, or seems to have ever been.

But both seem to have ties to individuals who have been involved in the club in some capacity over the last two-or-so years.

Hollie Kiely is believed to be the wife of Chris Kiely, with both serving as directors in the horse racing company Chris Kiely Racing Limited. Both have given interviews together in the horse racing world.

In September 2022, Chris Kiely was listed in the programme as a director of the club - something the club later said was done in error. This is around the same time that the share transfers happened.

Fans have raised concerns over Chris Kiely's role within the club in Q&As.

One fan, who described having a nagging doubt about the management of the club, said: "I feel that Chris Kiely and this MPS data company should make clear just what role they have to play."

The club's response was "The club acknowledges the importance of player recruitment and is continuously working to improve this area.

"The recruitment strategy will be reviewed and improved in the off-season to ensure that the team is better positioned to compete for promotion next season with the right mix of experience and youth.

"The club appreciates the fans' support and understands their concerns regarding this matter."

Another fan asked if Chris Kiely, who was described as 'having a degree of anonymity', could be present at the next fans forum.

The club's response was: "Chris Kiely provides data consultancy that will support the recruitment which Michael Flynn is undertaking."

Bethany Parladorio is believed to be related to lawyer Edward Parladorio, as both Mr Parladorio and Ms Parladorio are listed as directors of Dual Skincare Limited together

He was a founding member when the Advisory Board was created in September 2021 in an attempt to make the running of the club 'more transparent'.

He was listed in that board's structure all the way up until January 2023, where he would often provide updates on the club's legal matters.

The minutes of the meeting in February 2023 have not been posted, but the March 2023 minutes no longer list Mr Parladorio, and he has not been named within them since.

Prior to this, Mr Parladorio was involved in the legal battle over the club's ownership in 2021, where he represented football agent Michael Standing who at the time claimed to have a verbal agreement with then-owner Lee Power giving him a 50 per cent stake in the club.

In the July 2022 advisory board minutes, Clem Morfuni reassured fans that Michael Standing had no involvement in the club where he said: “No. I’m the 100 per cent shareholder & owner, he has no involvement.

"He has an outstanding court case with the previous owner, which is absolutely nothing to do with me.”

Just a few months later, just over 20 per cent of those shares appear to have been transferred.

In a pre-prepared statement during a fan forum on August 16, chief executive Rob Angus said that the filing was 'a mistake'.

Swindon Town Football Club have been approached for comment.
