Swindon Town have announced plans to host a concert at the County Ground for the first time in 11 years.

The club unveiled the decision on their website, and in tandem with this announcement stated that they were looking for feedback from the community to help them decide how best to cater the show for the audience.

The survey asks questions about what kind of music would be preferred and what format of concert is best suited.

The concert is intended to take place in 2024, but a specific date has not yet been confirmed, over a decade since the last time the venue hosted a musical performance.

Swindon Town Football Club, Commercial Manager, James Watts said “We are bringing a concert back to The County Ground as it is a great way for the club to raise additional revenue and use the facility in a different way from only hosting football matches.”

"We are putting a lot of time and effort into getting this correct so having the most feedback possible from our fanbase and the people of Swindon and the surrounding areas is huge in moving this project forward.”

The stadium has not hosted a concert since 2013, when Atomic Kitten, Peter Andre, Blue, and Five were all on the bill, but it was interrupted after a generator failed.
