Swindon Town have confirmed that Dan Kemp has been recalled from his loan spell with the club by Milton Keynes Dons.

Kemp, who has scored 16 goals for Swindon and assisted eight goals during his six-month stay with the club, has returned to his parent club.

MK Dons had the option to recall the 24-year-old once the January transfer window and new head coach Mike Williamson has wasted no time in exercising that option.

Kemp rounded off his stay at the County Ground by scoring a low drive with his final touch during their 3-1 defeat against Crawley Town.

Michael Flynn paid tribute to the quality and character that the former West Ham United youth player has shown whilst with Swindon.

He said: "I don't think it is any surprise [that Kemp is going back], but he is going to be a massive miss for us.

"Dan's attitude and professionalism is second to none and every single one of them in there [the changing room] could learn a lot from Dan Kemp because he is exactly what a professional should be.

"In terms of his work ethic, the way he looks after himself, and his desire, he is going to be a big miss."
