Promising midfield player Jaxon Brown has been promoted from the Swindon Town Academy with a professional contract.
Joining the club in 2022 from Tottenham Hotspur's academy, 17-year-old midfielder Jaxon Brown became a pivotal part of Swindon's Under-18 campaigns, particularly his role throughout Town's FA Youth Cup journey during the 2023-24 season.
Jaxon would go on to make his first-team debut in the Bristol Street Motors trophy game against Arsenal Under-21s in August, later making his league debut in November against Accrington Stanley.
Upon signing his first professional contract, Jaxon Brown said: "It feels really good to sign my first professional contract with the club. It’s something I’ve worked for, over the course of the two years I’ve been here as a scholar. Now I’m just excited for my professional journey to begin with Swindon."
"Initial conversations with Mark [Kennedy] have been positive, I'm really excited to see what the future holds while working with him, Marcus, and Gavin."
Academy Manager, Alex Pike said: "We would like to congratulate Jaxon on his step into the first team environment. He is someone who is focused on his football, but has also shown huge potential as a young leader in our environment.
"A proud moment for us again as an Academy, but more importantly for Jaxon and for his family! Congratulations, Jaxon."
