KC FC were big winners, thumping SKS Blyskawica 5-1 away from home, as there were only three fixtures in Division One.

Dave Slattery grabbed a double for the visitors, while there were also goals for Heard, Levett and Dick as KC ran away with it.

Minety managed to match their result as Lower Stratton were also on the wrong end of a 5-1 scoreline, while Roy Trevest, Michael Blackwell and Richard Clarke scored the goals as Intel were 3-0 winners at home against Blunsdon United.

In Division Two, Jamie Ashby’s late strike helped Moredon Cheney continue their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 win over Blunsdon United Reserves.

Mike Lichota put Cheney one up but Blunsdon equalised with stunning strike from the touchline which caught the keeper off his line.

With time running out it looked as though the points would be shared, but Ashby popped up five minutes from time to seal the victory.

Cheney share the lead at the top with Greenmeadow, who were able to miss a penalty and still run out 3-1 winners at home against Marlborough Town Reserves.

The hosts went in at half-time 2-0 up thanks to a brace of excellent finishes from Stuart Hodson, but after the break Marlborough came out fighting and pulled one back.

With 20 minutes remaining Greenmeadow were awarded a penalty, which they missed, but Scott Rouse made amends from the spot in the 80th minute, tucking home from 12 yards to clinch all three points.

Gavin Ferris’ solitary strike was enough for Castle Combe Reserves to overcome Wilton Town, while it was honours even between Chiseldon and Swindon Irons, with Chiseldon’s goals coming from Rob Christie and a Tommy Reynolds double.
