IN Under 12 Division Two, Brinkworth Cats A produced one of their best squad performances of the season in tricky conditions to beat Coleview Juniors 10-0.

Cats scored five goals in each half and created many other chances, but to Coleview's credit they never gave up and Cats’ defence had to stand strong on several occasions.

The Cats scorers were Jake Covey (3), Danny Wyks (3), Luke Whitmarsh, Jacob Botterill, Nathan Groom and Jack Akyrme.

Under 16 Division One

AFC Barbury secured a 5-3 win against Greenmeadow B, with goals from Jack Windell (3), Marvin Lombo and Jake Kevern.

Under 15 Division Three

Ten-man Penhill Knights joined Highworth Town Juniors T at the top of the table after a 4-3 win over their rivals.

Penhill started the stronger and were 3-0 up at half time with two well-taken goals from Chester Dolisznyj and Josh Telling. The third was caused by pressure from Terence Harmsworth resulting in an own goal.

Highworth rallied in the second half and were soon level, but Ryan King coolly dispatched a penalty in the last few minutes to win the game for Penhill.

Under 13 Division Two

On Saturday, Croft Juniors and FC Calne met on a very boggy pitch, and it was Croft who took an early lead through James Sims.

It remained close until the last quarter when Ollie Wise scored and Josh Ayres wrapped up the match with Croft’s third.

Swindon Rangers continued their winning run against Malmesbury, with their reward for a superb first half performance being a 3-0 half time lead, with Ollie Hunt opening the scoring and Luke Neves netting two fine long-range strikes.

Malmesbury defended strongly in the second half, but Rangers were able to add a further two goals thanks to Alex Fenton, before Malmesbury grabbed a consolation.

Under 13 Division Three

Old Town took the advantage early on against Tetbury Town in difficult conditions, with goals from Scott Brown, Alex Crozier and Thomas Whitham.

Tetbury struck back with a stunning strike to make it 3-1 at the break.

The Gloucestershire side then brought it back to 3-3, before strikes from Adam Bertram and Thomas Whitham secured a 5-3 win for Old Town.

Under 12 Division One

Eldene Rangers recorded their second win of the season with a 3-2 away victory over Lydiard Youth B.

Eldene took a 3-0 half time lead with two goals from Emrah Alman and one from Bradley Mark.

Lydiard pulled it back to 3-2 in the second half but Eldene held out for the win.

On a pitch that resembled a quagmire, Lydiard Youth A and FC Abbeymeads both found the ball was sticking in the mud when they tried to pass it.

Aiden Millar gave Abbeymeads a 1-0 lead at half time, before Lydiard equalised.

Lewis Newman gave Abbeymeads the lead again in the second half, but a late equaliser from Lydiard meant the honours were shared.

Highworth Town Juniors H bounced back from the previous week’s disappointment with a brilliant team performance against Wanborough.

Some quick passing and hard work resulted in goals for hat-trick heroes Harry Mills and Reece Cobb, two apiece for Jonathan Royal and Sam Downs and one each for Dan Wheeler and Liam Hallaways.

Under 12 Division Three

Blunsdon Colts had a convincing win against South Cerney as they ran out 4-1 winners.

Two well-converted headers from Hakim Jama, then two well-taken goals from Billy Gibbs, the first a fantastic free kick, sealed a comfortable victory.

Under 11 Division Two Highworth Town Juniors took the points after they scored four without reply against Wanborough.

Owen Smith netted a brace, with Louis LeBon and Kye Shiells adding the others.

Under 11 Division Three

Shrivenham & Watchfield stretched their lead at the top of the division with an emphatic win against Stratton Youth in difficult conditions.

In a tight first half, Shrivenham went in 2-0 up asNick Moore and Bradley Marsh found the back of the net.

Stratton pulled a goal back just after the break but Shrivenham dominated the rest of the half to run out comfortable winners.

Harry Bateman and Moore both completed second half hat-tricks, and there was also a sublime finish from captain Jamie Pinnock to round off proceedings.

Under 11 Division Four Both Penhill Kinghts and Cirencester Town G created good openings in the first half of their clash, but it was Cirencester that were 1-0 up at half time.

Penhill started the second period well and soon got an equaliser when the in-form Owen Miles blasted the ball into the back of the net.

Both teams worked hard to get in front but Cirencester were the team that managed to score next, and they added a third before the final whistle.

Under 10 Division Two

Wootton Bassett Town A’s stuttering form continued as they failed to hold onto a lead against Shaw.

Bassett A took the lead midway through the first period with a goal from Tyler Fitchett, but Shaw drew level before the interval with a goal from Jordon Clark.

In the second half, the game went from end to end with both teams missing several goal-scoring opportunities.

Under 10 Division Three

The local derby between Purton B and Wootton Bassett Town B saw both teams share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Bassett came from a goal down to level matters with a Declan Cox screamer.

Under 9 Division One

In an entertaining encounter between Purton and Highworth Town Juniors H, Highworth went 2-0 ahead, before Purton levelled.

It was end to end in the second half with some great saves at both ends, but Purton did enough to win 5-3, with goals from Hamsa Amaan (2), Jack Harper (2) and Adam Thorn.

Ferndale Rodbourne were the first to score in their game against Stratton Juniors A, when Josh Dixon latched onto a brilliant goal kick from James White to fire into the net.

Stratton replied immediately with a goal of their own and then netted a further three times, before Josh Dixon grabbed his second for Ferndale before half time.

Good defending throughout from Kieran Hall, Ferndale's man of the match, kept Stratton at bay for parts of the game, but they eventually won 7-2.

Under 9 Division Three

In a top of the table clash, Swindon Rangers overpowered FC Abbeymeads with some decisive attacking play, recording a 4-2 win.

Rangers’ goals came from Callum Marson (2), Jon Mallinson and Reuben Reeve.

Highworth Town Juniors T earned a hard-fought point in their game against Stratton Juniors B,.
