ALBERT Jarrett accepts he has a fight on his hands to earn a slot in Town's side if his manager adopts the if it ain't broke don't fix it' approach.
The young Brighton and Hove Albion winger, pictured left, returned to training yesterday for the first time since being involved in a car accident on the night of the Walsall game. He was given some time off by Onuora following the incident but is now hungry to win back his place.
It remains to be seen whether his initial month on loan will be extended (it is due to expire after the Rotherham clash) but the player at least is ruling nothing in or out.
Preferring to focus on the football rather than the crash, he said: "I've been keeping myself fit in the gym but it's not the same as match fitness obviously.
"I've missed two games, games I would hopefully have been involved in and would have given me a better chance of starting on Saturday.
"But the boys have done well. It's only right that if it's not broken, don't fix it.
"We'll just see how it goes. I don't feel I've a point to prove to anyone."
With his loan period rapidly coming to an end, the player says he is willing to look at all options.
That includes extending his stay in Wiltshire.
He said: "I'd consider it, I've got to consider everything and what's best for me to progress."
Ticket prices for tomorrow's game at Valley Parade are as follows: £18 (adult), £12 (senior citizens and students) and £10 (children).
