HELLENIC LEAGUE: JOHN Fisher has warned his Highworth Town side they must improve under aerial bombardment' as they prepare for a tough next four days.

The Highworth boss admitted they could not cope with Bishops Cleeve's route-one game in Wednesday's 4-1 defeat and is expecting more of the same at Wantage tomorrow and at home to Shrivenham on Tuesday.

Fisher said: "Wednesday was the first time this season we have played a side that was totally route one. Every manager has their own style but they did not even bother to play.

"I have seen that in the Southern League, because that is all they seem to do there, but in this league teams tend to try and play a bit more football.

"Wantage will be more of the same tomorrow and, whatever Alan Dyton says, so will Shrivenham on Tuesday.

"We'll have to keep the ball better or it will be just lumped straight back past us."

John Reeves is Fisher's only injury doubt while the Highworth boss has put in two seven-day approaches for strikers.

Shrivenham boss Dyton is looking for a big result' at Shortwood United tomorrow to set his side up a for a tough run of games ahead.

Going into the clash third in the Hellenic League Premier Division, Dyton knows his side's lofty position will be tested in the next few weeks.

Matches against local rivals Highworth, high-flying Bishops Cleeve and North Leigh follow, leaving Dyton needing a result.

He said: "Our run of matches after this puts an even bigger importance on gaining three points at Shortwood.

"Our form over the past couple of months has been very good but there is still room for improvement."

Tate Hulbert returns to the squad with Steve Avenell also back from a knee injury. Nathan White will return from a two month lay-off in the reserves.

Ashley Edenbrough has signed for Fairford Town from Cricklade and is expected to make his debut in tomorrow's home match against Pegasus.

Goalkeeper Johnny Haines returns to Wootton Bassett's starting line-up as they travel to Division One form side Tytherington Rocks.

Cricklade have a full strength squad going into their home clash with Trowbridge Town while Cirencester United entertain Malmesbury Victoria.
