RHYS Evans knows another quality display between the sticks will go some way to shutting up his tiresome teammates.

Ever since the 24-year-old was voted PFA Fans Player of the Month for January, the stick' has flowed thick and fast.

He joked: "I've heard a few who votes for these things?' and the like but clearly it's just jealousy.

"No, it's obviously pleasing and goalkeepers don't tend to get too much recognition.

"Still, you move on and look to the next game."

Bradford City are the next opponents and Evans hopes the team can learn from experience as they head to Valley Parade.

He said: "I think the last two matches have shown that we're at our best when we're pressuring teams and really in their faces.

"The problems come when we start to sit too deep and allow teams to dictate to us."

Evans will do his best to keep the line as high as he can and offer every vocal encouragement' to achieve that.

He said: "You try and keep focused, keep your concentration and communicate with the lads."

Today's match will see Evans meet up with a fellow former Lilleshall patient.

Bradford's Marc Bridge-Wilkinson was at the FA rehabilitation centre in the autumn while Evans was there for treatment on his knee injury.

He said: "We had a few chats and I'm sure he's glad to be playing again, as I am."
