FRATELLOS moved back into second spot in the Swindon & District League Premier Division after triumphing 3-1 in a feisty encounter against VBA Rangers at Penhill.

VBA made the early running and chances for Gareth Walton and Lewis Polden were saved well by the home goalkeeper.

In the 12th minute, Joe Harris received the ball on the left wing and danced his way through three desperate challenges, before stroking his shot into the net from 18 yards.

Fratellos were resurgent in the second period and on the hour they levelled when Carl Romain headed in from eight yards.

Five minutes later Romain struck again as he broke from the left and slotted past stopper Foye.

But for the woodwork and fine goalkeeping, Rangers could have taken a point from the match, and they were caught on the break when Ajay Sahota converted.

Queensfield maintained their stranglehold on top spot after winning 10-1 against CitiFaith Ajax.

Roger Munday and Adam Jack weighed in with a hat-trick apiece, while Blaine Fitzgerald bagged a pair and Sam Eagles and Tony Smith, with a superb volley, secured the victory.

Tom Davis pulled one back with the seconds ticking down but it was too little, too late for Chiseldon.
