CROFT Juniors B proved why they are Under 15 Division 3 champions with an astonishing 7-4 victory at Dorcan to end the season with a remarkable 100 per cent record.

Croft looked to be heading to defeat for the first time this term when they slipped three goals behind early on, but staged a sensational rally to lead 4-3 in the opening stages of the second half.

Dorcan soon equalised, but three late goals for Croft secured their 18th win from 18 outings.

Goalscorers for the victorious visitors were Tom Whatley (2), Liam Flanagan (2), Shanan Ward, Josh West and Brad Ford.

Under 9 Division 1

AFTER a string of good results in recent weeks, Ferndale Rodbourne came back down to earth with a bump, losing 5-1 to a strong Shaw team.

Harry Kemp scored Ferndale’s only goal of the game.

On Thursday, Highworth Town Juniors H sneaked a 1-0 win against Robins thanks to a late goal from Dylan Boulton.

At the weekend, Highworth secured all three points with a 5-2 away win at Greenmeadow Youth.

Dylan Boulton (2) Edward Barnett, Danny Thomson and Jay Lardner scored the goals for Highworth.

Under 11 Division 2

WROUGHTON Youth secured second spot with a narrow 1-0 win against Purton Youth. Harry Ballard scored the winner five minutes from time for Wroughton.

Under 12 Division 2

CROFT Juniors enjoyed a resounding 9-1 midweek win at Wootton Bassett. Louis O’Shea bagged four for Croft, Scott Hartley smashed a hat-trick and there were also goals for Joseph Kirby and Himanshu Vasishat.

Croft could not take that form into their weekend fixture with Ramsbury, however, as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat.

After falling two goals behind, Scott Hartley's volley halved the deficit for Croft after the break but they couldn't force the equaliser. Shrivenham & Watchfield retained top spot with a hard fought victory over Blunsdon Colts. Colts took the lead early in the second half, but Nick Moore replied for Shrivenham before Lewis Wray fired the winner with seconds remaining.

Under 12 Division 3

PENHILL Knights continued their rich vein of form with a 3-2 victory over Croft B. Croft took the lead, but were pegged back through Mitchell Pike.

After the break Croft again went in front but Callum Goldsmith-Newman bagged the equaliser.

With the game looking like a draw Penhill were awarded a penalty which was dispatched by Owen Miles.

Under 13 Division 1

SHAW drew 1-1 with Lydiard Youth. Shaw took the lead through Taylan Ozdemir, but Lydiard secured a point following a goal by Connor Wykeham-Martin.

Under 13 Division 2

KYLE Bower struck three times as Pinehurst Rangers saw off South Cerney 10-0. Prabseh Malla (2), Sam Hunt, Macauley Thomas, Shaun White, Will Stamp and Kieran Roche also got their names on the scoresheet for Pinehurst.

Under 14 Division 1

ROBINS came from 3-2 down to win 5-3 against Croft Juniors. Robins had earlier stormed into a 2-0 lead, before goals from Josh Smith (2) and Brad Pearce put Croft in front.

However, the visitors staged a late rally to earn all three points.

Under 16 Division 2

GREENMEADOW lost 3-1 to Coleshill Juniors. Luke Styles poked in for Greenmeadow’s only goal of the game.
