PAOLO Di Canio is confident he will become manager of a lower league side in England 'in the next few days'.
The 42-year-old was interviewed by Swindon interim chairman Jeremy Wray last week and was one of three names that was being discussed at a board meeting yesterday.
And in an interview with Sport Mediaset, the Italian said: “I believe my future will be in England. In the next few days something will happen.
"English football is loyal, full of pride and I believe I'm close to returning to England. It is the country that I most love from a football standpoint."
