SWINDON’S Joe Beeden is facing a tough test as he looks to secure his second victory as a professional boxer tonight.
Having lost his opening nine bouts in the paid ranks, the 21-year-old finally got his career up and running against Liverpool’s Mike Robinson, who had made the jump from super-flyweight for the bout, in Southport last month.
Now Beeden, who is looking to establish himself at super-featherweight after campaigning at lightweight and light-welterweight, crosses the Irish Sea to tackle unbeaten featherweight Paul Quinn in Belfast.
The 23-year-old has won all four of his paid bouts to date with his latest two outings not going past the opening round.
