SWINDON’s under 10 girls side won two matches out of five at their most recent event - the Gloucestershire Hockey Association Festival - on Sunday, January 19.
The girls defeated Cirencester B and Marlborough, drew with Cheltenham and lost narrowly to Cirencester A and Worcester.
Coach Mark O’Dwyer said: “An improvement was shown in all the matches as the goalkeeper and defence looked strong throughout, and the midfield and forward players look dangerous and likely to score when given an opportunity.
“Keep up the good work, girls, and many thanks to the parents for their fantastic support.”
