WANBOROUGH wheelchair tennis player Louise Hunt is to make her Grand Slam debut at Wimbledon after being handed a wildcard into the women’s doubles draw.
Hunt, who competed at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, will partner Germany’s Katharina Kruger at SW19.
The 24-year-old has so far enjoyed a stellar year in 2015 and is currently at career-best rankings in both singles and doubles.
Fellow Brit Jordanne Whiley and Japan’s Yui Kamiji will be top seeds at the All England Club, with Hunt and Kruger having finished as runners-up to the pair at the UNIQLO Wheelchair Doubles Masters last November.
The championships get under way on Monday, June 29.
