TOMORROW'S racing is scheduled for Salisbury where the Wiltshire course hosts its family fun day. Folkestone begin their six-race card at 2.20pm and jumping fans are catered for at Stratford with a six-race card kicking off at 2.10pm.
At Salisbury the feature race of the afternoon is the Listed Axminster Carpets Cathedral Stakes where local interest surrounds the Roger Charlton-trained veteran sprinter Patavellian and the Ogbourne-trained Pivotal Point who has been a good servant to trainer Peter Makin. However the column's selection is for Barry Hills' three-year-old Prime Defender the mount of son Michael.
Local jockey George Baker, with five winners under his belt this week, could go well in the opening race, the City Bowl Handicap, on Hanella, and later in the afternoon Roger Charlton's Toucantini could be worth a bet in the fillies handicap.
At Folkestone the Marlborough-trained Lucayos, ridden by Richard Kingscote, could be worth an interest in the six-furlong handicap at 3.20pm.
