The 13th Swindon Duathlon will take place once again at The Science Museum, Wroughton next month.
Included among the programme of events on Sunday, April 6 (10.30am) is a Novice Duathlon, aimed at local people who just want a new challenge over distances of five kilometres (run), 16km (bike) 2.5km (run).
A longer challenge of 10km - 40km - 5km for the endurance athletes is also available, as is a relay event, which is ideal for work colleagues to get together for some team building.
The longer event has been awarded British Duathlon Series Status and is a World Duathlon qualifier.
The events could be an ideal stepping stone for those taking part in Swindon Half Marathon or a triathlon.
To take part in the Do-A-Duathlon all that is needed is a road worthy bike and a helmet.
