The 13th Swindon Duathlon will take place once again at The Science Museum, Wroughton next month.

Included among the programme of events on Sunday, April 6 (10.30am) is a Novice Duathlon, aimed at local people who just want a new challenge over distances of five kilometres (run), 16km (bike) 2.5km (run).

The events could be an ideal stepping stone for those taking part in Swindon Half Marathon or a triathlon.

To take part in the Do-A-Duathlon all that is needed is a road worthy bike and a helmet.

Events get underway from 11am, with a T-shirt awarded to all starters Entry forms for all events are available from www.triferris.com, or email triferris@btinternet.com.
