BOWLS
SWINDON and District Women’s Bowls Association stage their annual finals at Wanborough on Sunday.
Several local players will feature in two finals.
Highworth’s Linda Kingston, a former winner, plays holder Carol Holland in the singles final and then later meets Chris Mitchell (Cricklade) in the Champion of Champions final.
Mitchell also features in the pairs final alongside team mate Janet Missen against Wortton Bassett’s Wendy Thrush and Doris Woodley.
