THE Hellenic Football League bowed to the inevitable this afternoon, as the snow finally claimed the majority of its fixture list.
As of 3pm today, only Highworth's Premier Division clash at Bicester Town had survived among the matches involving our local sides.
In the Supplementary Cup, trips for Cricklade, Cirencester United and Malmesbury Vics at Hook Norton, Launton Sports and Kintbury Rangers have been postponed.
It's a similar story in the Premier Division, where Shrivenham's clash at Milton United has gone and for Wootton Bassett and Purton, at Cheltenham Saracens and Clanfield respectively, in Division One West.
