SWINDON'S Jodie Symes, 15, will compete at the Connie Gough National Championship at the Stadium Snooker Club in Birmingham this weekend.
The Connie Gough National Championship is the fifth of six WLBSA ranking events this season.
Symes will be one of five juniors taking part in the main competition before going for the junior title.
Her main rivals are England internationals Hannah Jones, 13, and Joanne Davies, 17, both from Derby; Naomi Clare, 15, from Ripley, and 10-year-old sensation Jasmine Bolsover, who is from Woking.
