SINCE the resumption after the Christmas break Nalgo have been in sparkling form in Division One of the Indoor Cricket League.

A three-wicket win over Wootton Bassett was followed by a five-wicket win against Asians with Faheem making 25 not out on both occasions. Darren Fisher returned 3-17 for Bassett, who redeemed themselves by defeating hapless Wanborough by 22 runs despite collapsing from 71-2 to 98 all out with Andy Clinning taking 3-9.

In Divsion Two Nationwide defeated both Nalgo II and Nalgo Extras by three wickets and 19 runs respectively while Shrivenham II proved 46 runs too good for Highworth.

Wanborough II enjoyed a three- wicket success over South West in Division III thanks chiefly to Matt Edmunds’ 26 not out. Woodlands beat United Churches by 12 runs despite Chris Gilchrist making 53 for the losers. Tony Gardener struck 44 for Minety as they lost to Civil Service by 11 runs for whom Roger Willoughby top scored with 32.

SBC Capita have still lost just once in Division IV having thrashed Shrivenham III by a massive 74 runs whilst Wanborough III suffered the biggest loss of the day losing by 96 runs aginst Motorola.
