CHARLES Field was the first runner home as Pewsey Vale Running Club held the Bluebell Run on Sunday.
He finished in a time of 46:18, beating last year’s winning time by nearly two-and-a-half-minutes, while Michelle Pank was the first female runner home in 51:08, more than four minutes quicker than the 2010 winning time.
More than 150 runners took part in the eight-mile event at Collingbourne Ducis, with the team prizes going to Avon Valley Runners (men) and Swindon-based SLINN Allstars (women).
