SWINDON Snooker Club scooped a host of awards at the Jesters Swindon Snooker League presentation night recently.

The club won the Super League by 17 points as Seb Worrall was well-supported by teammates Lewis Miles, Simon Piatek, Richard Clark, Pete Franklin and Genario Pelvecchio.

They also emerged victorious in the four-man knockout tournament, the Guggenheim Cup, and Richard Clark was the Super League singles winner.

Worrall and Clark teamed up to win the Super League Pairs and the former was named Super League player of the year.

Swindon Snooker’s Pikey Potters were the winners of Division Two, well-steered by captain John Bowers, while 147 Juniors were runners-up.

Jesters A, only formed last season, finished a commendable second in the Super League after winning promotion in their first campaign.

One of the surprise packages were Jesters Aces in the Premier League, who only missed out on first place after losing 3-2 in a play-off against Jesters Robins.

The Retired League was won by Queenstown Club as linchpin Ken Shields had an exceptional season.

The team only lost one game all game and also won the seniors knockout competition, the Peter Paine Cup.
