DAVID Howell shot a four-under-par round of 68 to put himself in a useful position heading into the final day of the Qatar Masters.
A bogey at the 18th was the only blot on the Swindon player’s card, with birdies having earlier come on the fourth, eighth, 10th, 15th and 16th.
The Broome Manor pro must now wait for the remainder of the field to finish their third rounds in Doha.
At the time of writing he was sitting in a tie for 31st on six-under for the tournament.
