Swindon's David Howell
DAVID Howell's first round at the Turkish Open was brought to an end at the 13th hole.
The tournament was delayed by three hours this morning due to thunderstorms and the late starters were therefore up against time constraints to beat the fading light.
Broome Manor's Howell made it to one-under-par with five holes to play, placing him tied-50th.
The third event of the European Tour's Final Series continues tomorrow.
