DAVID Howell remains in contention for a top-20 finish at the BMW Masters in Shanghai after carding a solid three under in the third round.
The Broome Manor Pro had a solid opening nine, with one bogey and one birdie.
His back nine was far more exciting, after getting over a bogey at the 10th, Howell carded four birdies to take his score for the tournament to seven under.
The Wiltshireman goes in the final round tomorrow at 9.40am with Martin Kaymer and Louis Oosthuizen.
