SWINDON captain Aaron Nell was delighted with last night’s 8-5 victory over Slough at the Link Centre.
Henri Sandvik hit the second-fastest hat-trick in the EPL this season while Matias Perkkio - absent for the last three weeks due to the death of his father - marked his return with a brace.
Further goals from Jonas Hoog (2) and Nell sealed the win.
“I thought we were very good for the first two periods and then let off the gas a bit in the third period, but overall to beat Slough 8-5 is a great performance,” said Nell.
“Slough have a good D and a very good goalie (Gregg Rockman), but especially in the first part of the game we were very clinical and it’s huge having Matias back.
“He had a great game, and we’re all happy for him that he had a big night.”
