SWINDON Wildcats could be without the services of Tomasz Malasinski this weekend.
The Polish forward missed last night’s win over Milton Keynes Lightning after picking up a small knock.
Head coach Ryan Aldridge did not reveal the extent of his injury but explained that Malasinski would be seeing a physio ahead of the weekend and he would not rush him back.
Kenton Smith came back into the line-up for Wildcats and impressed Aldridge with a solid defensive display.
“He (Malasinski) has a little injury that we are not going to force him back from,” said the Link Centre boss, whose side travel to Guildford Flames and Peterborough Phantoms this weekend.
“He is going to see a physio before the weekend and if he is not 100 per cent he is not going to go, I am not going to push him.
“I thought Kenton played phenomenal tonight and we are lucky in our spot where we don’t have to rush guys, especially imports back.
“The chances are we will probably have to go into the weekend with the same line-up.”
