SWINDON Wildcats made it four perfect weekends in a row in NIHL South One following a classy 6-2 victory away at Raiders on Sunday night.
Aaron Nell’s side were also 4-1 winners at home to Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday night and have now won all six league matches they have won in 2019, alongside their final two before the turn of the year.
Nell’s strike was all that separated the two teams in the first period, but Swindon moved further clear in the opening exchanges of the second as Chris Jones hit the back of the net.
Raiders struck twice in quick succession through Juraj Huska and Brandon Ayliffe to level the scores, but the Cats got their noses back in front before the buzzer sounded as Edgars Bebris hit the back of the net.
Swindon upped the tempo in the final period and Jonas Hoog pushed the lead back up to two goals before further efforts from Tyler Plews and Stevie Whitfield sealed a dominant night for the visitors.
