Swindon Wildcats trail by three goals at Bracknell Bees in the second of their play-off games.

After last night's fine 2-1 win over the Bees, Wildcats have it all to do after a disastrous opening period.

Kurt Reynolds got the opener after Cats' Michael Farn lost his helmet, forcing him to head back to the bench and leave the visitors exposed at the back. And Reynolds took full advantage, putting Bees 1-0 up after just four minutes.

Swindon almost replied on seven minutes when Farn latched onto a mistake in the Bees defence to set up Petkoff but his shot struck the post before it was cleared to safety.

Bracknell went 2-0 up just before the 10-minute mark, Reynolds beating Nathan Craze, who was screened.

Swindon had a chance to pull a goal back when Matt Foord was caught on a delayed penalty but despite the extra man, Cats failed to take advantage.

After Bees killed off that powerplay, Robin Davison was penalised for a clash with Adam Bicknell, the Swindon man receiving a 2+10 minute penalty for his troubles.

And it was Bicknell who got Bees' third, scoring on the resulting powerplay, to put the home side firmly in control at the first break.
