RYAN Aldridge says he is not getting involved in mind games as his Swindon side prepare for what is arguably their biggest match of the English Premier League season.

Wildcats’ clash with Bracknell at the Link Centre tomorrow (face-off 5.45pm) is a contest the Wildcats must surely win if they are to overhaul the Bees for the final play-off place.

Bees player-coach Claude Dumas has stoked the fires ahead of the meeting by claiming that the pressure to win rests entirely on Swindon’s shoulders.

But Aldridge hit back: “He can say what he wants, we’re not going to get sucked into any of that rubbish.

“I would think the majority of the pressure is on us.

“We’re going to be chasing the game but it’s not something we’re going to worry about.”

Swindon have a disappointing record against Bracknell this year, having lost four of the five encounters and been on the end of some consummate defeats.

“If you don’t show up on a game like this then you’re never going to show up,” added Aldridge.

“These are the games that players want to play in.”

On Sunday, Swindon make the trip to Slough Jets (face-off 6.30pm), which could be another important match or an effective dead rubber, depending on the outcome of Saturday evening’s contest.

Swindon Town and the Wildcats are teaming up tomorrow to promote their respective derbies.

Town face Bristol Rovers (1pm) whilst the Wildcats face off against Bracknell later. Both teams have plenty to play for and are hoping sports fans come out to lend their support at both matches.

To achieve this, both clubs are offering £3 off admission for supporters from each other's clubs.

Wildcats fans can download a form from www.swindonwildcats.com and hand it into the Town box office before the game to receive their discount.

Robins supporters will be able to receive money off by showing their ticket stub from the Bristol Rovers game, at a special box office opposite the main reception at the Link Centre.
