SAM Bullas will be a Wildcats player in 2011/12 after agreeing to extend his stay in Wiltshire by a further year.

After an injury-riddled 12 months, Bullas was delighted to have signed on once again at the Link Centre, saying: "I am very happy to be back for my third season of ice hockey in Swindon.

"There is only one team that I want to play for in the EPL and that is Swindon.

"The setup is fantastic, and the fans in my opinion are the best in the league by a mile.

"The team already looks solid both on and off the ice and there's no doubt in my mind that we can win some silverware this season."

Cats head coach Ryan Aldridge was equally pleased to have secured Bullas' services, saying: "Sam had a tough year with injuries last term and I know he is looking to have his best year yet with us.

"He is a solid two way forward when fully fit and he plays with a little grit.

"He is a massive part of our locker room and it's great to have him back in the red and white."
