ALUN Rossiter sees no reason why Robins cannot serve up another television treat at Wolverhampton tonight - despite missing nearly HALF of his regular team.

Swindon have become the undoubted box office stars of Sky Sports' Elite League coverage this season, their brilliant performances away from home in front of the cameras earning rave reviews.

Rossiter's men got viewers drooling at Coventry last month, snatching a sensational last-heat win against the odds.

And they followed it up last week, nearly breaching Poole's Wimborne Road fortress in a thrilling 45-45 draw.

Tonight's meeting at Monmore Green is another to attract the cameras, following Reading's decision to postpone their clash with Coventry.

And the schedulers clearly know they are on to a good thing, with Robins' return to the Bees on the television next Monday night.

Rossiter said: "We're not bad box office at the moment are we?

"It's been really good and I've had so many compliments from people who have watched us in the last few weeks.

"I'm always saying we're putting Swindon on the map, but it really seems like the whole town has been gripped recently.

"The pub (he runs the New Inn at Stratton) has been absolutely packed for the television meetings and the public are loving it.'' Most people will expect Swindon's luck to run out in front of the cameras at Wolverhampton tonight, especially as Mads Korneliussen plus reserves Andy Moore and Tomasz Chrzanowski are all ruled out with injury.

Moore injured his wrist flat-track racing, while the Polish ace has tonsillitis, also ruling him out of homeland and Swedish league engagements yesterday and tomorrow respectively.

Stoke rider Rusty Harrison comes in for Moore, with Swindon's No 8 rider Tommy Allen filling in Chrzanowski's considerable berth.

Korneliussen meanwhile is still recovering from the two broken bones in his hand sustained more than a week ago.

But Rossiter said: "Of course it is going to be difficult now, especially with Tomasz missing.

"But our other riders are going so well that I still think we can get something from the meeting.''
