HEAT DETAILS

Heat 1: Nicholls, Monberg, Pedersen, Dryml, 66.80 (5-1)

Nicholls gates off the outside and Monberg is close behind. Dryml completely loses momentum as he exits bend two as Monberg sweeps across him. A very easy 5-1 for the hosts.

Heat 2: Gathercole, Woodward, North, Sedgmen, 67.59 (8-4)

North is first to show but the in-form Gathercole sweeps round the top into first on bend two. Sedgmen struggles at the back.

Heat 3: Klindt, Bridger, Gustafsson, Janowski, 67.33 (11-7)

Klindt just about gets his nose in front into bend one after starting from the outside gate. Janowski is never that close to Gustafsson.

Heat 4: Monberg, Kylmakorpi, Woodward, Gathercole, 66.83 (14-10)

Cracking ride from Monberg. Eastbourne's Kylmakorpi and Woodward are on a 5-1 at the start but the Dane gets Woodward on bend three and then powers past Kylmakorpi on bend two lap two, and wins at a canter in the end.

Heat 5: Janowski, Pedersen, Klindt, Dryml, 67.05 (18-12)

Janowski and Pedersen are very tight into bend one. Pedersen bothers the Pole throughout until the final lap but the home rider holds on.

Heat 6: Kylmakorpi, Nicholls, Monberg, North, 66.93 (21-15)

Terrific gate from Kylmakorpi and that's that.

Heat 7: Bridger, Klindt, Gustafsson, Sedgmen, 67.93 (23-19)

Sedgmen makes the gate but Bridger is lurking and hits the front on bend two. Klindt then moves into second and Gustafsson passes Sedgmen on bend three.

Heat 8: Monberg, Gathercole, Woodward, Dryml (R), 67.42 (28-20)

Monberg gates and wins by a mile. Gathercole and Woodward have a right royal battle for the first lap before the former comes out on top. Dryml pulls up on the back straight of lap two.

Heat 9 (re-run): Janowski, Kylmakorpi, Klindt, North, 67.49 (32-22)

Janowski powers into first off the inside and then Klindt goes from fourth to second wide out on bend two. Kylmakorpi forces his way past Klindt at the end of lap three.

Heat 10: Gustafsson, Nicholls, Monberg, Bridger, 67.27 (35-25)

Super effort from Gustafsson to keep Nicholls out. A close finish. The Swede had earlier zipped from third to first on bend two lap one.

Heat 11: Nicholls, Pedersen (tac), Woodward, Sedgmen, 67.52 (38-30)

Worries for Swindon as tactical man Pedersen flies out off the inside, but Nicholls takes the lead coming out of bend two, and that's how it stays.

Heat 12: Gathercole, Gustafsson, Klindt, Woodward, 68.30 (42-32)

I don't know what Cory Gathercole had for breakfast this morning, but it certainly worked. He's looked a top reserve tonight, bravely forcing his way past Gustafsson on bend two. Klindt overhauls Woodward on the back straight of lap two.

Heat 13: Kylmakorpi, Pedersen, Nicholls, Janowski, 68.30 (43-37)

An incredibly close first two corners and it's the Eagles that emerge in front. Kylmakorpi shoots into first on the back straight of the final lap.

Heat 14: Janowski, Bridger, Gathercole, Woodward, 68.68 (47-39)

The gate of the night from Janowski and Gathercole battles away for a well-deserved third.

Heat 15: Nicholls, Pedersen, Monberg, Kylmakorpi, 68.52 (51-41)

Terrific contest to finish it off. The Eagles are on a 5-1 from the start but Nicholls speeds from third to first on the back straight. Monberg progresses into third past Kylmakorpi on bend four and that's three points wrapped up for the Robins.
