SWINDON Supermarine have announced the signing of three new faces at the Webbswood Stadium as the Southern League side attempts to mount a challenge for promotion next season.

Lee Spalding’s men have brought in midfielders Frankie Artus and Pablo Haysham as well as left-back Lewis Hall to strengthen the squad.

Former Bath City midfielder Artus spent six seasons with the Romans but has opted to drop a division and begin a fresh challenge in Wiltshire.

The 32-year-old began his career at Bristol City in 2006 before loan spells followed at Exeter City, Brentford, Kettering Town, Cheltenham Town, and Chesterfield Town.

The Bristol-born playmaker signed permanently for Cheltenham in 2010. In successive seasons, Artus played for Grimsby Town and Hereford before joining Bath in 2014.

Attacking midfielder Haysham has bounced around a handful of clubs in Oxfordshire including Oxford City and Didcot Town before moving on to Hereford and Salisbury FC.

After moving to Banbury United last term, the 29-year-old chose to sign for Marine and is expected to help lighten the load on talisman Conor McDonagh.

Defender Hall began his career at Bristol City before the 25-year-old signed for Gloucester City upon his release.

Three seasons at Gloucester preceded spells at Hereford, Taunton Town, and Weston-super-Mare, from where Hall now joins Marine.

Meanwhile, Brad Hooper, Henry Spalding, Jack Stanley, Rhys Wells, Pierce Mitchell, Louis Spalding, and Matt Coupe have all put pen to paper on another year at the Webbswood Stadium this week.

They join Martin Horsell, Jamie Edge, Ryan Campbell, Conor McDonagh, Harry Williams, Mat Liddiard, Zack Kotwica, and David Pratt as Marine’s contracted players for the 2021-22 Southern League Premier South season.
