Given the number of people from our community who use the Esprit centre, I really don't understand why the planning committee seems to have ignored our requests for the required amount of parking.

The Esprit centre is a wonderful facility that is nothing but a benefit to the community as things stand now.

If they persist in not ensuring the required parking, they are going to cause so much anguish and trouble for the local residents and the community of Esprit users, with people parking where they can to be able to get into the Esprit facilities.

We are all so disappointed with the decision in this case.

The facilities offer a wonderful martial arts school, dance school and large gymnastics school, and up until this summer football was played on the site as well, until ground work stopped this.

Why is it always maximise the profit versu benefit to the community?

I believe all we are asking for is a car park that can cope with the size of the facility. It means a small reduction in the number of houses being squeezed onto the site.
