THE one-year anniversary has just passed relating to the 219 mostly Christian Nigerian schoolgirls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram.
Boko Haram is an Islamist group which is trying to set up an Islamic state in northern Nigeria.
None of the kidnapped school girls have yet been found.
This is yet another example of how law and order is breaking down across many parts of the world including Nigeria, Somalia, Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Syria.
We don't realise how lucky we are that mass kidnappings like this do not happen here in Britain. Britain should do everything it possibly can to help return these Nigerian schoolgirls back home to the safety of their parents.
