I AM seeking any relations or photographs of a Second World War Royal Air Force fighter pilot Leonard Vivian Toogood, who came from Portsmouth.
He might have relatives living somewhere in Wiltshire.
Leonard was sadly killed in a flying accident on October 27, 1940.
He was serving in No 43 Squadron and his Hawker Hurricane L1963 crashed in County Durham.
He was the son of Leonard and Ellen Toogood and he is buried in Kingston cemetery, Portsmouth.
My interest is researching aircraft crashes in my local area and I am in the process of writing a book.
