THE Common Agricultural Policy of the EU has created a crisis for British milk farmers.
The problems for the milk farmers have been growing since the abolition of the Milk Marketing Board by Margaret Thatcher.
Farmers are selling their milk at below cost price and this cannot continue much longer. British farmers are the bread basket of the nation and deserve our support.
Manufacturing industry has to a large extent vanished from our major cities and it is very worrying to think that now our farmers could be going the same way.
Membership of the EU has been very bad for both British industry and British farmers.
