WHY, with a performance much better than some, was skating actress Gemma Bissix voted off Dancing on Ice? Probably because she confessed to having Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson as the person she would most like to meet.
What parent in their right mind is going to vote for someone who idolises a man who preaches ‘speed is good, speed is right, speed works’, and suggests that it’s easy being a superdad (super idiot most like) if you have a car with at least 500bhp and are willing to drive very fast?
Thousands of youngsters are killed and seriously injured on our roads every year and such comments certainly don’t help to reduce the problem. Indeed, they probably helped create it.
Has the ‘ambassador for speed and irresponsible driving’ not go blood on his hands? For what? Cheap laughs? Money?
If Jonathan Ross can face the sack for thoughtless, inappropriate comments, Clarkson should have been sacked years ago.
