IN Holland, sound protection on major roads is a substantial metal structure that curves outwards at the top reflecting sound back to its source. Although not finished yet, the sound barrier protecting Covingham is a not very high wooden fence on a metal frame, and I wonder how effective it will be. Perhaps a sound engineer can advise us.
