IN June 2009 I had a hip operation and was so well treated in the Aldbourne ward, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were wonderful. It would not have been fair to nominate any nurse or member of staff for an award, they were all so kind and caring, no matter how busy they were. It was also spotless at all times.
So why is the rest of the hospital not run with the same care and attention?
A friend told me of her terrible experiences when she was in the GWH.
Obviously all the best staff are in Aldbourne ward.
