MY sheltered housing is now death’s waiting room, ageism is rife. Small facilities to help disabled children are closing down. Our children’s education is now so dumbed down that it’s like The Lord of the Flies out there.
Transport is now a luxury for the poor.
And to top it all the head boys in government are now doing part time and leaving work at three to go home and play daddy.
But hark, the royal extravaganza is coming soon with a Roman holiday for the peasants that will cheer us all up.
God help us all - bring back Oliver Cromwell.
